This is amazing! Seriously one of the coolest concepts I've seen for this kind of game in a long time, I am already hooked and so eager to see where this story goes.
yeah I noticed that too. The specific problem is that I need to take a little longer than the average bear to tell the F and the E apart :( that’s how I keep getting murdered.
I've legit had this sitting on my wishlist and just when i was gonna try and download it I realized through your comment that it can't be played on mac (the struggle as a Mac player is real 😭)
the fact that this game is in development makes me feel like in prison. no rush tho im just saying never in my life being this invested. ive done playing the demo like 1-2 weeks ago but its still in my mind till this day. now im checking the update every now and then. illuscape, good job on the demoo!!
Okay, took me a bit but if anyone's struggling on the first night make sure CAPSLOCK is off! For some reason it doesn't register the keys I press when it's on. Found that out after probably reloading 10+ times that it actually matters lol.
ohhh, the plot looks so interesting so far! the cyphers gave me quite some struggle at first but it was all worth it. i love it when games branch outside of the silly little executable. i am SO pumped to see more!

Almost got all the CG's (just missing the last one lol) but played through a few times to get a good taste of the demo. Besides a few spelling errors here and there (it happens lol) this is a solid experience. The inventory system is fun and the quick time event to avoid a bad end was neat, with maybe possible updates to tweak this for better accessibility for players who may be unable to hit the keys as effectively.
I very much look forward to where this will go, have been following the project for a couple years now, I think y'all are doing fantastic. (:
i really really thought the cheat sheet would help me get all the bad ends lol. but it turns out its most likely a bunch of lore. hope you dont mind me just dropping it here :3
the level 1 is a caesar cipher level 2 is a rot-47 cipher and level 3 is a mix of binary and rot, if you want lore and want to be very confused you might just wanna check out the cheat sheet so many questions and only a few are answered thanks to the files huhu cannot wait for more i just love lore. i love the game so far esp kane hehehehehehhehehehe
ahh I see, but when I searched it up it was rot tho? the question came out just fine maybe we could use both afterall? Or did it came out differently when you use ceaser? I’ll look more into it
